Somerset NUT Meetings

All General and Committee meetings are held at The Heathfield Community School, West Monkton, Taunton, Somerset. The meetings start at 6:15 p.m. and finish at 8:15 p.m. Tea and Coffee is available on arrival.

In addition some focus group meetings are held in different parts of Somerset normally to discuss single issues.

All members can attend General Meetings and the Executive Committee Meetings are for those NUT members elected as Officers or Committee members.

Those members attending meetings can claim childcare and travel allowance.

Free Event. ... The AGM Will be held at the Tacchi-Morris Arts Centre, Heathfield School. The AGM will start at 6-00pm, agenda attached, and conclude at 7-00pm. Reception for Guests with drinks will start at 7-00pm followed by a meal at 7-45pm. This year Bill Greenshields, National President will be the NUT speaker and Judith Richardson, Education Officer, will be the guest speaker from Somerset Local Authority. The whole event will close about 9-30pm.
